Best tool for what
Which AI video generator is best for which job: Kling 3.0, Runway or Luma?
There is no single best video generator. Runway and Luma now host other companies' models, including Kling 3.0, so the useful question is which platform fits your workflow. On their own pages (read Oct 18, 2026) Luma lists lip-sync, Reframe, Extend Video and Video-to-Video, and Runway lists Aleph 2.0 and upscaling. Kling's own features are unverified.

What we have not verified
- We have not run our own same-prompt test across these tools. No independent hands-on quality comparison has been verified; the review pieces we read say they are not hands-on.
- Kling features come from third-party reviews and from how Luma and Runway list Kling. We could not read klingai.com, so they are marked unverified.
- That Runway Gen models have no native audio is not confirmed on an official Runway page.
- Whether Sora is still available is unverified, so we do not cover it.
- Third-party credit counts for Kling conflict between sources, so we leave them out.
Quick answers
Which AI video generator is best?
There is no single best. Runway and Luma both host several companies' models including Kling 3.0, so pick the platform by workflow. Luma lists lip-sync, Reframe, Extend Video and Video-to-Video; Runway lists Aleph 2.0 and upscaling (both pages read Oct 18, 2026).
Does Kling 3.0 generate audio?
Luma's page lists Kling 3.0 with audio options, and third-party reviews say it generates native audio. We could not read Kling's own page, so treat Kling's features as unverified.
Does Runway generate audio natively?
A review says Runway Gen models have no native audio and rely on other models such as Veo 3.1. This is not confirmed on a Runway page. Runway's pricing page does list audio models.
